F*ck It, I’ll Start Tomorrow, by Action Bronson

Bam bam in the mother f*cking building, Queens - NY

Thoughtful rapper, top of the line chef, travel enthusiast, wine connoisseur and now author of this masterpiece from the man himself, Action Bronson

Rainy days brings the opportunity to brush up on some neglected literature.

As I write about this 10 chapter wonder story, I can’t help but notice that over the years, Ariyan Aslani aka the great Action Bronson has written more than 172 pages to summarise his thoughts.

Seven studio albums, three EP’s and multiple mixtapes – many, many, many hours of music, it is clear he a bit on his mind to talk about.

The story of a young Albanian boy in the depths of Queens, NYC – Action takes you on a journey from growing up in a household of his mother and grandmothers cooking, shared family living, lost kids in the big apple through to food addiction, struggles with weight and the journey to accepting himself for who he is.

If you know who he is, be it listening to his music or viewing the constant uploads of FTD on his YouTube channel, you can’t help but read this in his voice

Worded to how he would present himself, Bambam Baklava shares all that he’s learned in the past decade to help you help yourself. He hasn’t pinned it as a how to guide of finding the perfect body – I would view it more as an endeavour to find confidence, keep the negative energies to the side, stay humane whilst being relaxed, and to look in the mirror, and be f*cking proud.

F*ck It, I’ll Start Tomorrow is not about losing the pounds, but more that it’s about being and feeling on top of the world regardless of your size or shape.

“It’s about living f*cking healthy, period.”

Feel the mind, embrace the spirit, enjoy the journey to the countryside, as I can quote from the man himself, he is indeed well on his way to riding the Harley into the sunset.

To summarise – time with family and friends is everything, the way life presents itself is in your hands and most importantly, one big thing I collected from this reading is health, really and certainly is, wealth.

F*ck it, start the book today, not tomorrow.
